This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use Veila AI (the “Service”), and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means a unique account created for you to access our Service. Accounts may be created using Apple, Google, or email-based passwordless login.
  • Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares or voting interests.
  • Application refers to Veila AI, provided by Reignite Group LLC and doing business as “Veila” or “Veila AI.”
  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) refers to Reignite Group LLC, doing business as Veila AI.
  • Country refers to: United States, but the Service is made available worldwide (including Tier 1 countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Luxembourg, and others).
  • Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application (Veila AI).
  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company (for example: Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, RevenueCat).
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
  • You means the individual using the Service, or the company or legal entity on behalf of which such individual is using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

  • Email address (for login/account purposes)
  • Authentication tokens (if logging in via Apple or Google)
  • Usage Data (see below)

We do not require passwords. All accounts are passwordless (via Apple, Google, or email login).

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as your device's IP address, device identifiers, operating system, application version, browser type (if applicable), the features of our Service you use, the time and date of your use, and diagnostic data (such as crash logs or error reports).

When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may collect additional information automatically, including device type, mobile operating system, mobile network, and unique device identifiers.

Chat Data

When you use the AI features in the Service, your chat prompts and conversations may be temporarily processed by our third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, and others) to generate responses.

  • If you are in Private Mode, chats are not saved to our systems.
  • If you choose to Save Chats, they may be stored and linked to your Account in our backend (Supabase).
  • We cannot delete chats once they have been sent to third-party AI providers, but we can delete all chat history associated with your account from our systems upon request.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

The Service itself does not use cookies in mobile apps, but may use local storage or similar technologies for authentication and session purposes. If you access Veila via a website, we may use cookies for session management and analytics.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including monitoring usage.
  • To manage Your Account, including registration and login.
  • For contract performance, including processing in-app subscriptions.
  • To contact You via email, push notifications, or in-app messages about updates or security notices.
  • To provide You with service-related communications, not marketing unless you have opted in.
  • To manage Your requests (support, deletion, corrections).
  • For business transfers, such as a merger or acquisition.
  • For analytics and improvement, including analyzing usage trends, crash diagnostics, and user feedback.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

We do not sell your personal data.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate our Service. These providers process data only to the extent needed to provide their services to us. Key providers include (with links to their policies):

Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active.
  • Usage data: retained for analytics and troubleshooting, typically less than 2 years.
  • Chat data: retained only if saved by you; otherwise deleted immediately in Private Mode.
  • Purchase history: retained as required by Apple/Google and financial laws.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information may be transferred to servers outside your country, including the United States. By using our Service, you consent to such transfers. We implement reasonable safeguards (such as encryption and contractual commitments with processors) to protect your data.

Delete Your Personal Data

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the account settings page or by contacting us at support@veila.app.

Please note:

  • We can delete all data stored on our systems (e.g. Supabase, RevenueCat).
  • We cannot delete chat data already processed by third-party AI providers; users must contact those providers directly.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

  • Business Transactions – In case of merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the new owner.
  • Law Enforcement – We may disclose your Personal Data if required by law.
  • Legal Requirements – To comply with obligations, defend our rights, prevent fraud, or protect safety.

Security of Your Personal Data

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, monitoring) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided data, we will delete it.

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If material changes occur, we may notify you via email or in-app notice.
